How does Forever Young BBL work?
Forever Young BBL is the only device capable of changing the expression of genes associated with aging. This innovative technology delivers light therapy into the deep layers of your skin cells to activate certain genes related to youth whilst turning off other genes responsible for the aging process. Just like flipping a switch!
Treatments stimulate the skin to create more of the proteins and other building blocks that are associated with youth. These new skin cells are programmed to be younger, giving clients a more refreshed, rejuvenated, youthful appearance.
What happens during a BBL treatment?
A clinician will examine your skin during your initial BBL consultation to determine which areas to target. Then they’ll create a treatment plan involving multiple laser therapy sessions.
BBL treatments usually last around 30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area. The clinician will apply a cooling gel to the treatment area and possibly a topical anesthetic during the procedure. You’ll be asked to wear safety shields, goggles, or glasses to protect your eyes.
You may experience sensations, pulses, and mild pain. Your skin may feel warm and appear red, swollen, or sunburned.
BBL treatments use a broad spectrum of wavelengths to target your skin’s underlying layers. Your skin absorbs this light energy, which promotes collagen production and eliminates pigmented (darker) skin cells.
You can expect to see visible changes to your skin within a few days or weeks of your first BBL treatment. As you continue treatments, you will notice more significant changes.
