Our skin boosters are injected by using a mesotherapy gun. The mesotherapy gun uses a 9-needle system and suction. Using the beauty gun, the product is delivered precisely to the depth chosen by the therapist.

Numbing cream is applied to the treatment area 30-60 minutes beforehand. The numbing cream is removed before treatment. After consultation with your therapist, you may choose to have the Skin Booster injections across your entire face, other areas of the body, or a more targeted location such as under the eyes, cheeks, or forehead.

The initial result will be visible within the first few days after treatment. This is due to the immediate hydration provided by the hyaluronic acid. Over the next few weeks, the skin will continue to improve as new collagen and elastin are laid down, providing increased structure and dermal thickening.

The benefits of the skin-boosting treatment improve over time as the product stimulates cell renewal and reinforces collagen production deep within the skin. An initial course of three treatments is required for best results, and the results can last for up to 12 months. Depending on your unique needs, 6-monthly maintenance treatments may be necessary to maintain superior hydration and skin quality.

The treatment takes approximately 45-60 minutes. This allows for 20-30 minutes for the anaesthetic to take effect and approximately 15-20 for the treatment itself.

This treatment is exceptionally safe given the formula (Hyaluronic Acid) is found naturally in the skin. Side effects are minimal and may include temporary redness, bruising and minor lumps, which are not visible and quickly dissolve into the skin. Any bruising is temporary and can last 1-10 days and will completely disappear over time without affecting your treatment.

​After your hydrating Skin Booster II treatment, you should:

• Avoid medications and supplements that contain blood thinning agents such as aspirin and Nurofen, or multivitamins, fish oils, glucosamine, Vitamin B or Vitamin E, for 1-2 weeks as they are blood thinning agents and may exacerbate bruising (if your GP has advised these medications, please check with your GP before stopping them).
• Avoid exercise for 24 hours.
• Avoid excess sun exposure for 24 hours.
• Apply ice frequently as required to the area injected for up to 6 hours after the treatment to prevent or alleviate any bruising. It will also help to reduce any swelling.

Skin Booster II injections are different to traditional dermal fillers. Fillers can create volume in the face or change the face’s shape and are administered by a single needle. Skin booster II uses micro-injections of serums which can include fillers. Smaller amounts of serums can be dispensed with greater precision providing more natural results.
